A Personality Test Says We Might Be a Perfect Match…

Mar 1, 2025

How Well Do You Know Yourself?

I was reminded recently of the Myers-Briggs personality test, and wow—it can be eerily accurate.

You can take a quick, less in-depth version of the original test online (I’ll drop the link below).

But what does this have to do with your finances? 🤔

Well, I subscribe to a newsletter that helps financial advisors sharpen their skills. I’m always curious to see what others are saying and, more importantly, how I can be the best advisor possible for my clients.

A recent email caught my attention—it talked about the best personality types for financial advisors. Naturally, I had to see what ChatGPT had to say, and here’s what it came up with:

Best Personality Types for Financial Advisors

🔥 ENTJ ("The Commander") – Powerhouse strategists who excel at long-term planning.
🔥 ESTJ ("The Executive") – Detail-oriented, disciplined, and structured in their financial approach.
🔥 ENFJ ("The Protagonist") – Charismatic leaders who inspire and connect deeply with clients.
🔥 INTJ ("The Mastermind") – Logical visionaries who thrive in complex financial planning.
🔥 INFJ ("The Advocate") – Insightful, value-driven advisors who align finances with life goals. (That’s me! 👀)

So, naturally, I had to ask: Which client personality types are the best fit for an INFJ advisor like me?

Best Personality Matches for an INFJ Advisor

Best Fit: INTJs, ENFJs, INFJs, ISFJs – These types value trust, strategic planning, and personalized guidance.
Moderate Fit: ENTPs, ESTJs, ISTJs – They can adapt if I tweak my approach to match their decision-making style.

So, if you’ve ever wondered whether we’d work well together, take the test and see where you land. If you fit into one of these groups, we might be the perfect match.

And if you don’t? Still book a call. At the end of the day, this is about your financial future, not just personality types.

I know this newsletter isn’t loaded with finance “hacks” this time, but trust me—understanding yourself is one of the smartest financial moves you can make.

Finances are deeply emotional and psychological, and the better you know yourself, the better your money decisions will be.

Till next time,
